All assets for each journal section were created with well-known, influential pieces of the time, many which hold historical background. Each page was developed in partnership with these art pieces to create distinct imagery for each artistic movement. Booklet pages were created and formatted in Adobe InDesign.

This booklet spans across nine different time periods that spurred changes in graphic design and how designers approached art in accordance with historical events. The timeline for these time periods begins with Egyptian hieroglyphics all the way up to the Macintosh computer and how corporate design has been impacted in recent years.
Assets from many of the pages in the booklet were modified in Adobe Photoshop for proper formatting to the page and text.
